Digital Reel Fed
Durst Rho Flatbed printer
Printable area up to 2000mm wide and length limited only by reel capacity or substrate availability.
We can print up to 80mm thick, including corflute, foam board, wood, plastic, glass, steel, as well as conventional materials such as paper, lightbox film and banner vinyl. A little imagination can produce really unique results. For example we have printed bubble wrap, corrugated iron (the mini corrugate works best) and even doors and shelves (such items need to be stripped of hardware so they can lay flat).
The inks on the Durst are UV cured and are ideal for outdoor applications. This machine also prints a white ink which is perfect for clear substrates such as electrostatic film or window decals. |

HP Inkjets
We have three of these machines which produce high resolution photo quality results and print up to a width of 1520mm and a length limited only by reel capacity. These machines can only print one side, but prints can be mounted back to back where necessary. These machines can run paper or synthetic reel fed media up to a weight of 210gsm and is best suited to indoor applications. |
HP Scitex TJ8500
Sheetfed size off a reel up to 3.6 metres x 1.6metres. This is a high speed reel fed machine delivering exceptionally sharp print and detail at a large format size at a staggering 200 square metres of image per hour. The inks on this machine are UV cured and are suitable for outdoor applications. We run the following substrates on this machine:
• Ambassador Satin 250gsm
• Ambassador Satin 200gsm
• Ambassador Satin 150gsm
• Yupo 250 micron (a synthetic, waterproof stock, suitable in lightboxes or as an outdoor poster without the need to laminate)
We can also run other stocks for longer run work (such as self adhesive vinyl). Please ask your Account Manager for details.
The TJ8500 makes it possible for us to compete with long run work that might otherwise have been suited to screen printing, however with more consistent results and faster turnaround.
Note: Whilst this machine can print up to 1600mm wide, most stock is available in reel widths of around 1250mm wide. Talk to us about available stocks when planning your job.
